CAPACITOR 35+5 MFD 370 VAC ROUND DIRECT REPLACEMENT FOR CARRIER BRYANT PAYNE DAY & NIGHT OEM PART P291-3553

This capacitor is the direct replacement for many Carrier, Bryant, Payne, and Day & Night models made by United Technologies. This is a round run capacitor. This capacitor replaces Carrier Bryant Payne Day & Night part numbers P291-3553 and HKCY350D050R370. IMPORTANT NOTE ON CAPACITOR FITMENT: This is a round capacitor which measures 2″ in diameter at the base. If your capacitor measures 2-1/2″ in diameter at the base, this MAY NOT BE the correct capacitor for your unit. Due to changes in capacitor materials and manufacturing over the years there have been slight variations in case diameter. This is especially true if replacing an older plastic capacitor with a new metal case capacitor. If your capacitor mounts through a round hole bracket it may be necessary to enlarge the hole slightly with a file or grinder on some older units.

This contactor is a heavy duty enclosed replacement for all Carrier, Bryant, Day & Night, and Payne two pole contactors rated at 35 Amps or 40 Amps which have 24 volt coils. This contactor is rated at 40 Amps and has a 24 Volt coil. This contactor has a heavy lug screw terminal and 4 male quick connect ?” terminals on each line voltage connection to provide maximum wiring flexibility. The two terminals for the low voltage coil each have double ?” male quick connects. The contact mechanism is enclosed to keep out insects and debris, but the visible plunger provides positive verification that the contacts are pulled in. The mounting base measures 2-5/16″ X 1-15/16″ with four oblong mounting holes 1-5/8″ x 1-5/8″ on center. There are also four slots in the base to provide many mounting options. This part replaces Carrier Bryant Payne Day & Night part numbers P282-0421.
